A recent article in the journal Nature highlights "Quantum Thermodynamics": link. This is a new research field founded by Prof. Ronnie Kosloff which deals with the question of whether classical thermodynamics and quantum theory can combined and what would be the consequences.

Marcel Fabian wins a Poster Prize at WATOC 2017

Marcel Fabian's poster was selected among 300 contributions at 11th Triennial Congress of the World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists for a Poster Prize. Marcel is a PhD student in the group of Prof. Roi Baer, working on the stochastic Density Functional Theory.
