Call for Tenure Track Academic Faculty positions 2020-21


The Institute of Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, seeks outstanding candidates for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels for the 2020-2021 academic year. The positions are open in all fields of modern chemistry.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree, and significant post-doctoral experience is required.  Evaluation of candidates will be based primarily on scientific excellence, past scientific achievements, originality, the proposed research and the potential for ground-breaking research contributions. The candidate's sub-area of specialization will be also considered.

Candidates must demonstrate strong interest and an exceptional track record in research, outstanding academic credentials, and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching (also in Hebrew language) and graduate training. Successful candidates are expected to establish and lead an independent research team pursuing a state-of-the-art research program, and to contribute significantly to the undergraduate and graduate teaching programs of the Institute of Chemistry.
